The Oakwood Chamber Players are a dynamic ensemble of six professional musicians based in Madison, Wisconsin. For the past 40 years, the group has served as the resident chamber ensemble for Oakwood Village, bringing high-quality, engaging performances to the community and beyond. Formed by a close-knit group of friends, the ensemble is rooted in the joy of making music together—and that warmth and camaraderie shine through in every performance.

Known for their historically and stylistically diverse programs, the Oakwood Chamber Players present thoughtfully curated concerts enriched by engaging verbal program notes. Their unique blend of wind and string instruments allows them to explore a wide range of repertoire, from well-loved classics to culturally significant works by living and lesser-known composers. The ensemble’s members are also active performers with the Madison Symphony Orchestra, Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra, and Madison Opera, making them an integral part of Madison’s vibrant music scene.
